Ok...so just now I was standing in the shower...peeing...and I couldn't help but wonder at the whole "peeing in the shower is gross" theory...
In truth there is potentially a fair bit of gross happening, running down your body and being washed down the drain. Menstrual blood, 24hrs worth of grime, germs and sweat, poo traces when you wash your bum, vaginal fluids...makes urine seem pretty clean really? It all gets washed down the drain in the end yeah?

And...just to gross things up a bit more. Does no one else take a hot bath when in the grips of menstrual cramps? Is that not sorta gross?

I've never done that. But to honest, I never considered the "grossness" of it. I just don't like the idea of climbing over a bath edge and having to lower myself in and then struggle to get back out while dealing with cramps.

I never have, the idea of soaking in my own uterus lining doesn't appeal to me haha

I'm no.. That's too far! Having a bath while on your period is a bit gross in my mind! Wouldn't the water turn red?

    Default peeing in the shower

I wasn't trying to start a debate. It was being discussed in great detail on the radio when I was coming home from somewhere the other day so it was on my mind.

Honestly I've never given a fleeting thought as to whether urine is sterile or not.
