Default orgasm in order to conceive

I first want to say hi to everyone as I am new and I am looking forward meeting new people as my husband and I travel down the road called TTC parkway.

I also have a question on how do I get to put a picture of myself up, I am looking around profile but I don't see anything.

So I do have a question about conceiving and I am wondering if I must have an orgasm in order to conceive .

Are you on your phone/tablet or PC? Look for the "User Panel" button, that brings up the options for avatar pic and signature and some other things.

And no, you don't have to orgasm, but it apparently helps.

    Hi and welcome

Everything I've read suggests it isn't necessary and I would guess LOADS of people concieve without orgasming and whilst it was a while ago, remembering what BD'ing was like with my ex (lol) I'd say my two older children were concieved without an orgasm :P

They do say it helps though for the woman to O after the guy. Sucks them up I guess lol.

What would make you think a woman having an orgasm was necessary?

I've heard lots of people on here saying it helps (although I'm not really sure why).

It's definitely not needed. My daughter was ivf so definitely no orgasm & no fun there at time of getting pregnant haha

The theory is that because the vaginal wall contracts when you orgasm, it will help the sperm move up much quicker.

Both mine were conceived with the best sex I ever had, so my guess is it helps 😊

It absolutely is not a requirement! I can say that with certainty because I am one of those unlucky ones that doesn't ever orgasm during sex. But I am one of the lucky ones that conceived in the first month of trying

My understanding is the contractions help the sperm travel in the right direction but not necessary. I rarely orgasm when dtd but hoping to have some good moments when TTC.

I did buy pre-seed lube that gets inserted into the female to help the sperm on its way.
