@Mongol I'm so sorry it your cycle ended like this, that totally sucks! I hope your next move is the right one & you end up with your BFP X
My transfer is booked for 12:45 Perth time tomorrow... Nervous & excited!
I was given Luveris this time when I enquired my FS about it. Now I'm thinking I probably didn't need it as my FS didn't monitor my LH levels prior to prescribing Luveris. There are plenty of success stories of women 40 and over. But I know what you mean. A cousin of mine got pregnant at 43 and it was a surprise. She cruised through her pregnancy it happens easily for some people, we just have to hang in there!
Thanks everyone for your lovely messages. I am now looking forward to next cycle. Do any of you know how long we typically have to wait until stimming starts next?
@AmyEL sending you loads of luck and wishes for transfer tomorrow! Fingers crossed, this will be the one for you. Have a good sleep tonight and make sure you are relaxed tomorrow as much as possible xx
@Mongol that's sad that it ended that way. Fx for next cycle. I believe you can start stims again straight away, but not all doctors will do it (or it might not be right for you). I had a failed IUI where I started gonal-f again four days after my BT was negative.
pingc383 We have only done one STIM and we have used a low dose of gonal f. Everything looked as though it was progressing really well and we did get 8 eggs at collection. Our FS is confident that the Elonva will result in more mature eggs, so we're willing to give this a go.
I just haven't heard too many stories about this drug. All of the online reviews seem pretty positive, but I'm sure like most things in IVF it's a bit of a lottery lol.
@Mongol so sorry you're embies didn't make it hopefully at your next appointment your FS comes up with a new plan.
@AmyEL transfer day finally! Sending you lots of sticky vives
Ugh sorry your linings aren't playing ball @Flower78 and @julianicholson fingers crossed today and tomorrow bring better news for you both!
Big hi hi to everyone else!
I'm ticking along waiting for my FS appointment next week, into CD2 today and I'm sure these meds are giving me a headache everyday
Pregnant for the first-time?
Not sure where to start? We can help!
