Sorry to hear that @Mongol. I hope the next protocol is better.

Good luck with ET tomorrow @AmyEL! Exciting.

Hopefully our linings start playing ball @julianicholson! I'm sure it will look better Friday, I'm hoping mine has picked up tomorrow.

I'm 40.. So not looking good for me either.. But we'll see.. I know a few girls who got preggers on their first go and they were 39... I dunno.. We're all different I guess..
Dr Braverman sits in New York but his immune panel/testing can be arranged via Dr Sacks in Sydney which is what I did. Braverman has then given me a protocol based on my test results.
I was given Luveris this time when I enquired my FS about it. Now I'm thinking I probably didn't need it as my FS didn't monitor my LH levels prior to prescribing Luveris. There are plenty of success stories of women 40 and over. But I know what you mean. A cousin of mine got pregnant at 43 and it was a surprise. She cruised through her pregnancy it happens easily for some people, we just have to hang in there!

I have been following the protocol for other reasons and have noticed very positive outcomes. I do hope you get some answers soon xx

AFM I had my first scan today and second bloods. Bloods are all good but I have ended up with 6 follicles thanks to Clomid so levels are not where they need to be for trigger just yet. My lining is 6mm which is a bit low but fingers crossed the vitamin E and viagra keep doing their thing. I have blood test and scan again Friday
No I haven't read the book but it sounds very interesting. I think I should read it as its very relevant.

All the best for your cycle, hoping for a great outcome for you xx

Thanks everyone for your lovely messages. I am now looking forward to next cycle. Do any of you know how long we typically have to wait until stimming starts next?
@AmyEL sending you loads of luck and wishes for transfer tomorrow! Fingers crossed, this will be the one for you. Have a good sleep tonight and make sure you are relaxed tomorrow as much as possible xx

@Mongol that's sad that it ended that way. Fx for next cycle. I believe you can start stims again straight away, but not all doctors will do it (or it might not be right for you). I had a failed IUI where I started gonal-f again four days after my BT was negative.

Do you find your LH gets too low on Gonal f that you have to use luveris or some other LH supplement? That could be why your eggs aren't mature. I found my egg numbers increase when I added growth hormone. Have you tried adding that to your protocol?
Hi @pingc383 We have only done one STIM and we have used a low dose of gonal f. Everything looked as though it was progressing really well and we did get 8 eggs at collection. Our FS is confident that the Elonva will result in more mature eggs, so we're willing to give this a go.

I just haven't heard too many stories about this drug. All of the online reviews seem pretty positive, but I'm sure like most things in IVF it's a bit of a lottery lol.
