Fertilisation results are in. Out of 8 eggs, 6 were mature, 3 fertilised normally and 2 have something happening, (2 pronuclei or something?) so they'll watch and see what happens with them. I get to start good old crinone tomorrow with bloods and a scan to check lining on Monday and transfer Tuesday if all goes to plan. Unfortunately my FS can't do the transfer but another FS will step in.

That's great 3 fertilised. Fingers crossed the other 2 pull thru and that all leads to a successful transfer on Tuesday

@jess8383 praying for your 3 fertilise to remain strong and the 2 to catch up real quick.
I just got an update from the embryologist - I have 2 fertilised out of the 6 retrieved. I'm hoping they reach day 5 for testing although I've told myself not to expect much as last time I had 6 eggs fertilised and only 2 made it to day 5. But who knows, anything can happen. I'm mentally preparing myself to stimm again

@cococool that's great to hear you got rid of the cyst naturally 7 follies sounds good! @Ashjay sorry to hear that hun but just to share my experience, all my pregnancies (5) never showed up on HPT initially. I know it's wierd right and with me only a blood test showed the correct bhcg. Maybe wait until your blood test to confirm it? I don't want to get your hopes high but maybe just maybe your bhcg is low at the moment to be detected at home?? Sorry you're feeling this way, please hang in there and feel free to vent here whenever you want to. Hugs xx

@pingc383 thanks for that. I don't mind you asking at all - I am 35 and no do not suffer from PCOS. Does the PDG testing take some time to come back with results? And what are the chances of it actually affecting the embryo? Is it then better to do the testing on fresh embryos before freeze?
    Oh CP is chemical pregnancy.
@Mongol thank you. I would like to be super hopeful that the bloods will show differently to my HPT. It's just hard at this point because every test I have done (that's been +ve that is), I've got a faint positive by now so not holding onto too much hope, as much as google tells me it could still happen haha
@jess8383 and @Mongol I hope your little embies keep pushing on for you both!

@Ashjay I think it takes about 2-3 weeks for the results.
I'll probably get mine tested again (however many I get fertilised
FS says I only really have 3 good follicles not 7). I don't think it effect the embryos as they take a cell from the edge from where it hatches.

So sorry about your news @Flower78 #cancersucks
@Mongol I have everything crossed your 2 make it to day 5
@jess8383 50% fertilisation rate is great, hopefully it gets better, GL!
@cococool yay 7 follies & no cyst! Perfect!

AFM, I called the clinic this morning to see what the wait it, I'm day 17 of stims today!! Apparently they are waiting on my estrogen to jump up, so even though my lining is good to go I can't trigger until estrogen is strong... I had a BT this morning & am waiting on a call to see what the next move is.
