    Default IVF/FET Aug. - Sept. 2016

    Hi everyone,
My fresh IVF cycle failed last month. Today, I got a call from the nurse confirming a new cycle in possibly Aug or Sept. Wondering any of you also plan to have IVF/PET done at this time, if yes, let's share experiences, ideas about diets, exercise, work, accupunture...
Look forwards to hearing from you.

Hi @Trang I am yet to see my FS after my last failed cycle, but I am pretty sure my next one will be around August.

Hi Skeeter, nice to see you
I am in now trying to get my body ready for the cycle. Have 2 yoga lessons/ week, take heaps of vitamins , but not sure about accupunture as my heart just jumped and raced when I tried it last time (quite scary). Have you got any experience about accupunture?

Sorry, never tried acupuncture as I don't like needles... Funny thing to say when I've been through IVF, but although I now can inject myself, I still don't like them. I have upped my vitamins again, and have just started DHEA again. Hopefully my FS will have a plan when I see him.

You are very brave Skeeter. I couldnt do the needles for myself and neither my hubby. We ended up having my sister in laws to come and do them for me

My mum did my first couple, but I injected early before work and it was easier to do it than wake her up. I still can't believe I do it, but it's become normal now... The clexane needles hurt a bit, but the others are okay.

    Hi guys,

I'm looking at going back for our only frozen embryo in Aug. In terms of diet I just eat a balanced diet as I find restricting myself just adds pressure on what already is a stressful time. I also just go about my normal exercise routine of walking and my job is quite physical so that is a bonus.

I'm hoping for a cycle of as little drugs as possible as they make me moody but will just do what I gotta do to increase my chances.

    Good luck all!

I'm a cofee drinker and found it hard to go without coffee during the procedure last time. Interestingly, a friend of mine who is now IVF pregnant said that she has coffee all the time (even now), she just reduced from 4 units to 2 units per day.

I switched to decaff tea after my first failed cycle, as I drink a lot of tea. I'm so used to it now normal tea tastes weird. I just wish the decaff teabags were cheaper!

I'll be starting my first IVF stimulation (and hopeful transfer) in August. My specialist is on leave in July so I have to wait until August to start treatment. Kinda nervous to go through all it contains, but the doc assures me that it's less painful than the HyCoSy that I had done earlier in the week.

(TTC - 4 years, and my other half has nerve disease that messes up all the signals)

Any tips for a first timer? I'm going through Geneva.
