What's the name of the hormone in the blood test that correlates to how many follicles you are likely to have ? ? I can't remember

Do you mean E2? It sometimes corresponds with the amount of eggs but it's not always an accurate indicator.

@Tinachris estrogen yep. My donor had a sh!t load of big ripe follicles, around 30 kind of thing. Found out after EPU that her E2 levels were around 5 thousand which corresponded to the 5 eggs we got. But yeah my doc said that sometimes that's not the case.

@Twiglets - my blood test is 12 days post transfer. I guess clinics have different timeframes.
@Bongley - I hope your friend gets her so deserved BFP.

@BIB sorry I've been mia lately I've had some family & work commitments I had to attend to, along with doing a stim cycle in May.
Thanks for keeping me on the roll call, you can remove me luv😊 as I won't be doing a transfer until next year. I was planning on doing a transfer later this year with the pgd normal embie from a cycle I did last year but I've now deferred it until the start of next year. I've been doing embryo banking & just got my pgd results back from the cycle we did in May, we now have a second normal pgd embie & I've decided to give my body a break no more IVF for me this year! Like @Tahli my hair has also been falling out & I'm just worn out.
I will pop in from time to time & wish all the lovelies who are still ttc with oe or de the very best of luck, I hope you get your bfp soon

@Tinachris - Sounds like you are getting yourself prepared hun knowing which numbers to calculate before bt to correspond to number of follicles. Best way to be one step ahead of the game, good on you and good luck x
@skye76 - Sounds like you have been through a lot on your ivf journey and if a break is needed then good on you. Great to hear you have a second pgd normal to work with when you are ready. Hope the break does you some good x

@Charlie74 - sorry you feel like this. We all have some time or other. When I was on holiday at Easter I had a few drinks and stood in a car park outside a lovely resturant sobbing on DHs shoulder about how useless, old and washed up I felt. So you are not alone. DH is good at constantly reminding me that I have a lot to be thankful for and not to dwell on these negative thoughts.

Remember you have a good DH and have a PGD normal embryo waiting for you and the possibility of getting more! I think it's ok to feel bad and wallow in it now and again and then you need to pick yourself up throw away and negative thoughts and keep moving forward.
