Hugs @lastchance xxx
Quick query we are doing our last oe cycle soon. This cycle im.on 600 menopur and elonva and no gonal. Ive never done menopur before. Whos done it before and whats it like?
@midnight01 I'm using menopur for the first time now. It has lh in it so you don't need Liveris injections like with GonalF. It might make our egg quality a bit better compared to GonalF. Biggest pain is its not in a pen and you have to mix the solution and draw it up.
I used it in Cycles 4 & 5 in combination with Gonal-F/Puregon. It's a pure form of FSH/LH rather than a synthetic version as it's extracted from the urine of Menopausal Nuns
In saying that, it's used either on it's own or in combination with either Gonal-F/Puregon and as @Tinachris has said, it's hoped to help with improving egg quality.
You have to mix it up yourself and it frucking stinks!!! I used to mix all of mine up and draw up my dosages into the syringes and keep them all ready to go in the fridge so all I had to do was pull out a syringe and inject myself
@Lastchance75 fingers crossed for you.
Had my transfer this morning. One little munchkin survived the thaw and started expanding. transfer went well and had some acupuncture done. So know it's the waiting game. Sticks at the ready
Bad news I'm afraid. Levels have gone down to 47.
I'm devastated. I'm not sure my husband will want to go back for a third try. Emotionally and financially we are really starting to get to the end of the line. I really thought this would be the answer for us. I can't understand how a Pgd tested embryo implants and then I'm going to miscarry.
