    Hi ladies,

Hope this find you all well.

sorry I have been MIA I went back to work and had to go away for the week for work and I have been so tired! Also, been so nauseous too so had trouble looking at the computer screen. Hopefully that settles down soon or else it will be a very long pregnancy.

I have my nuchal scan in two weeks wow how time flies. My EDD is 31/01 so @BIB when you are free please could you update.

Wow this thread has moved on fast anyway good luck to all those cycling.

    T

Thank you @BlondeinBrisvegas for keeping me on this list. I have my paperwork and should start af on 4th July (claiming it as my own IVF Independence day). We had to have another SA test as DH only had enough swimmers to fertilise 5 eggs last round. But its come back good enough for ICSI. Im on Luveris this cycle and 350 Puregon. Not looking forward to 3 injections a night, and 2/3 are the ones you have to mix. Puregon is heaven compared to that. Has anyone used Luveris? And Im scared 350 Puregon might have the opposite effect and produce less eggs. Im taking the attitude of que sera sera. And its a double transfer due to poor responder never had a frosty.
@Lastchance75 Im sorry you are going through this. Babymaking isnt as fun as we once heard many moons ago. Its heartbreaking..

@Billie2 - I used luveris on my last cycle. I found it ok to use - better than menopur anyway. I used it in conjunction with Gonal f. It was the only cycle out of four where I got a PGD normal embie. Don't know if that's coincidence or not but I'll never know as that was my last stim cycle.

That does motivate me. A girl at my clinic I got to know on BH said on her luveris round she got her first grade 1 emby. I'll take any positive story. Im using Puregon, Luveris with Centrotide.

This is my last round too.

Is @Blossom74 out there?! Not an IVF question but I attempted to bake scones today. Will scrap the first batch and move on!! Any tips for me?! Thanks!! Hope everyone else is going along ok, staying warm and keeping positive. I'm 33 weeks now with my South Africa DE twins and feeling ok. Huge but ok. Bubs weighing at 2.0 and 2.2 kg at the moment. Good for them but getting harder on me!! hopefully they keep growing and stay put for a few more weeks. 😄

    Blossom's Scones

    500 grams Self Raising Flour
    110 grams margarine (not butter)
    50 grams caster sugar
    300 mls milk

    Method

    Preheat oven to 240 dgrees.
Put flour and sugar into a bowl
Rub margarine into the flour/sugar mix with your fingers (it doesn't need to look like fine breadcrumbs, but rub it in reasonably well.)
Dig a well in the centre and pour in all the milk.
Using a spatula or knife blade, gently draw the flour towards the centre of the bowl, into the milk.
Avoid stirring vigorously, you need it to come together only so there are no visible puddles of milk in the bowl. Go very gently and slowly.
Tip out scone mix onto a well floured bench top. Using your hands, press it together into a ball and give it a very gentle knead - maybe ten or so kneads until it comes together and looks well combined. Remember, you're not making bread - no vigorous kneading is required!
Cut into 12 scones and place them close together - almost touching, on a greased and floured baking sheet.
    Brush with milk.
Bake at 240 degrees for approximately 13-15 minutes, until golden on top.
To test, pick up a scone and knock on the bottom - it should sound hollow.

    Serve with jam and cream
