@BlondeinBrisvegas - thanks for that information. I will discuss with my dentist what his process is for removal of amalgam fillings.
Chiefsgirl sorry to hear about your little one, I'm sure everything will be okay
My FS said to me at my transfer " what are you going to do if this doesn't work" wow thanks for your confidence!!
He seemed to think that our donor, although very fertile is just one of those people who's body doesn't react well to IVF drugs!
Jeez how unlucky are we!
He said although rare he does see it.
I told him if this doesn't work I would probably look at going overseas for egg donation. He seemed rather anti it and said that I should talk to him first as there are other options available here.
I told him I wanted an unknown donor, I know this may sound awful but I found having to worry about someone else's emotional/physical and financial health very taxing.
My donor is a very good friend so maybe that made it more difficult?
Sorry long post, just wondering what all you ladies make of it all???
Maybe the TWW is making me crazy

@MissDa it does seem pretty bad that you're only getting one embryo from the donor. If it doesn't work out this time then maybe just see what your FS has to say, I don't know what clinic you go through but I know with Genea they do have a world egg bank program where you are guaranteed 6 eggs and my FS had had 100% success rates with her 6 patients that had used them. Its not cheap, $20k I think but given that a normal donor cycle through them isn't too far off that its probably a pretty close option. And you still have the donor's information attached to the eggs. It is a lot of money I know, and I guess if you aren't necessarily wanting a known donor then SA is probably cheaper, but then its the going back and forth I guess which can add up to being a lot more if you had to that is.
Why does all this have to be so hard! I so hope this one works and you don't even have to bother thinking about any other options!!
great news about a date for Miss A @Chiefsgirl it must be some relief knowing you can get it all sorted.
have a cocktail for me @Charlie74 !!
I have news! I'm finally doing something, lol!
First up, AF came to pay me a visit. On what would otherwise have been CD39, lol, she finally made her long awaited appearance. And my, hasn't she made up for it. Normally I get a little spotting and that's about it. This time though - it's like I'm 15 again. Gush, lol.
But...even more exciting than that ....
I have a Skype appointment with my new FS from the Gold Coast in 1 hour's time! So nervous, lol.....
One down....one to go @Maxwellsmum!!!!
ETA- Hope the Skype appointment went well Luv!!!
