happy birthday @Green lady. I hope you @MissDa both have a lovely weekend. even if it's a low key birthday - treat yourself to something relaxing

congrats @AnnaMM that's a great milestone to reach
@BlondeinBrisvegas I hope centrelink can sort our your DD's paperwork soon. that's crazy it's taking so long and you're having to chase them up so much. the garage door does sound like #3 so hopefully all that bad luck is gone now

afm, had a msg from a donor today. it hasn't worked out, but we're encouraged that someone did offer. and now I'm hoping we haven't blown it. we're very appreciative that she contacted us to discuss things as everything was almost perfect. needless to say I was distracted this afternoon and had to catch up on work

@Green lady have a great weekend! Sounds lovely and sounds like you have a good plan for your emby. 43...where dreams come true!
Ironically, the radiator in the car sh!t itself when I was driving home after using another of the Mothers Day vouchers to have a massage done

That was a frucking waste now wasn't it????

Yep, money is the root of all evil as "they" say...whoever the fruck "they" are???

Go on...why don't you just have the whole frucking bottle!!!!!

Wazza recommends a drink or 2 to promote blood flow to your oven/lining so go for gold I say!!!!

I'm sorry to hear things haven't worked out with that particular PD Luv (((hugs)))

You know the saying...when one door closes...another opens..so maybe this donor wasn't the right one for you for a very good reason. The Universe has the perfect donor in mind for you and just needs you to wait a bit longer for her to arrive for whatever reason

@winsor that is REALLY encouraging, I hope this is the start of some offers for you! It's very difficult when someone pops up and isn't the right match. Good that you sorted it quickly and cleanly though.

    Hello all
So little embie was at 2 cells this morning, I don't know if that's good or bad and I don't really care at this point and I am definitely staying off google! It's a one in a million shot.
Feeling much calmer today and even booked a very expensive restaurant for dinner tomorrow night for DP to take me to.
Hope you are all having a pleasant weekend

Hello @MissDa I'm so sorry to hear of the extremely stressful situation you are going through. I think staying away from the Internet is a wise move and distract yourself with enjoyable things. I hope you enjoy your dinner tomorrow xo

Soo I've secured my donor in CT and am working like a mad woman to get things sorted to release some of my partners super for the cycle. I'm petrified none of this will work and it feels really crazy in so many ways but if we don't try we'll never know I guess. Next step I have to see a psychiatrist to have an assessment for the super release. I'm not sure what this actually involves, should I show how desperate I am to become a mum or play it down? Should I gloss over the stress of failed cycles or be honest about how low I was? Has anyone else gone through this on this thread?
