@Blossom74 ooh ouch, take care of yourself there, hope that clears up quickly. Oh geeze, (just read your earlier post) severe bladder infection! That sounds terrible, rest up! I'll bear those symptoms in mind for future reference.
@MissDa blumin heck! I would have died of stress if I'd lost my trigger. Good thing the clinic was open. Best of luck with EPU tomorrow, your donors follies sound great.
@BlondeinBrisvegas have fun with your fams, sounds hectic
@Maxwellsmum I can understand your husbands reservations about bubhub, it can be a bit of a harsh place sometimes but not this thread. Lots of info and support here. Best of luck with your lining scan.

    Hi everyone!

So a day off for me. And by 'off' I mean I'll be doing housework all day. But I do intend to have an afternoon nap and have changed our sheets this morning to nice flannel snuggly ones so I can really enjoy it!

It's amazing what a few antibiotics will do. Already the pain is lessening. It's funny, I think I've been feeling off for a while but on Friday I did say to DH "I wonder if I'm gearing up for a bladder infection..." The trouble is, if I'd gone to the Doctor then it would have been very non-descript symptoms - a niggly pain here, a bit tired and teary. I doubt they would have said much more than 'have a day off!'

Anyway, hopefully on the mend now.

In TTC news (I feel like I should contribute to that conversation even though I'm not doing much yet, lol) I chat to my donor every day and we are both excited about our upcoming adventure. I feel really safe with her - she's done this a few times before and she knows the ropes, so she has been guiding me through everything. Things like "OK, today's job is to call your clinic and transfer your records up to here." All step by step and not bigger picture so it feels easy to manage.

She is just so bl00dy lovely. I feel like we're sisters and we share everything. Hopefully this relationship is something we can continue well into the future. I'd miss her if she was not a part of my life now

Anyway, that's me. Will pop back in during the day.

@Blossom74 sorry to hear about your UTI - you must have a high pain tolerance to not have know for so long! Rest up!! Just remember to take probiotics (a good one). Your gut health is so very important in terms of absorbing all your nutrients from supplements and medications and food and to help fight other infections (given 80+% of your immune system is connected to your gut health!).

@MissDa I hope all goes well for you and your donor! How annoying to have lost the shot!

AFM I really love this forum! I have so many doubts and concerns - and every day I get to read about others going through far worse things than me, and having amazing fantasic results (babies!) it is very encouraging. Plus the added bonus of finding out about different clinics (well that's great but makes my indecision even harder ), and now hearing about contact with donors and donors in Australia - well that adds one more that is sounding really interesting! I've been trying to do some PD and listen/watch to things that keep my mind positive - one I've had a lot from is Bob Proctor - here is a link I've used recently and am visualising my babies (hoping for twins) and have actually started to set up the baby room! My DH is so lovely helping me with it!

    Thanks lovely!

I was VERY lucky. I had lots of people offer advice when I was constructing my advertisement and they gave me guidance along the way. Once my ad was approved and I had posted it up, I had lots of interest. I think I spoke to 6 donors all up, and the first one was within a day or two of our ad being posted.

It was not all smooth sailing but we have now found our perfect match. We also made some amazing friends along the way, and their support and encouragement was what got us through the process. So, yes, it did happen very quickly for us, but we couldn't be happier with the result.

    Thanks @Green lady

You know what was really interesting? I really changed my views on a lot of things during the process. For example, when we first started looking I thought "Yep, I'm happy to commit to sending you a picture every now and then, and I will let you know about milestones etc" and now I'm like "I hope we are always as close as we are now." That was a real eye-opener - to all of a sudden want this person as a permanent part of my life - and it is what made me think "Yes, YOU are the one I need to do this with."

She is like my sister, she gets my crazy sense of humour. And if I told her there was a body in the backyard she wouldn't question it - she'd just come over with a shovel!

Hi girls, I know we are not doctors but you are all a wealth of information and since I am unable to get in contact with my clinic in Hawaii just wanted to get thoughts on blood results.

So day 17 today with FET on Monday. Est is 1001. LH 1.7 and Progesterone 71.4.

Anyone know if this looks ok?

    Hi Lovelies.....

My frucking computer tower has sh!t itself not 15 mins ago in dramatic style with sparks & electrical smoke!!😮

So...doubt I can get it repaired so going to have to get it replaced & all the stuff on it transferred over onto the new tower. God only knows how long it's going to take so until I'm back up & running I won't be able to attend to the Roll Call.

So sorry Girls...will be back on board as soon as possible 😐
