@BlondeinBrisvegas Last roll of the dice with my own eggs would be with Wazza remotely. But that'd be $15k plus (up front) I'm guessing. Ouch. Doing it remotely seems like a lot of effort when you're tired of IVF. (Yes, I'm aware I sound like a whinging cow!)
A September TET would be around $4k.
Im not even sure if LB would do my scripts and referrals anymore.

Wazza would do them and send them in the mail to you if needed (i.e for any that aren't covered in the fist full you'll walk out of his office with!!) or have one of his FN's fax/email/scan (whatever the fruck they do??) it to the chemist of your choice if it's an emergency etc

@tuxcat - Great to hear your first counseling session is done and things are underway.
@Caesardust - Sorry to hear you have been sick, hope you recover soon. Hope your donors results are back quickly, great they are throwing the kitchen sink at your cycle. What a lovely idea to get your donor such a thoughful gift she will love it.
@Tahli - Sounds like you are sending your self around in circles hun making this decision you have a lot to consider with the possible overall costs and the fact that you feel over all this, thinking of you xx

@BlondeinBrisvegas it went well, and just highlights all the issues that you have to think about with a donor, she was very experienced and had some examples of things that have arisen in the past so it was great to hear about the broad range of stuff that needs to be considered. It really emphasises the importance of a good fit with your donor I think. There's three sessions all up, next one is donor and her hubby and then it's all of us. It's also a way of informing everyone of the legalities around it all

How are things with ex-dp? Have you guys agreed to do any counselling yourselves? Or are you ready to put the whole thing to bed?

I was thinking to get my donor a gift pack of Australian made beeswax beauty products. What do you think?

Sorry you're feeling so crappy hon. Take care of you

By the way, I think that is a lovely gift for your donor, she will love it!

They are all Pgd tested normal embryos. But then so were the 4 that we put back and didn't work. Honestly the chances of me having multiples is slim.

@Lastchance75 - I think I would consider doing the same if your fs is willing. What reason if any have you been given that those pgd in the past may have not worked or is it just down to luck?

Aaaah...thanks for explaining that Luv. I do find it all very interesting from my side of the fence

Things are going ok with the Ex (most of the time). He's having counselling which is good and it's something I hope he will continue with as there is some kind of Medicare scheme where he can get further sessions (10 I think under the scheme) for free?? I've told him to ask his Psychologist about them and to get her to apply for them through Medicare

As far as he and I go..I'm done Luv and always was. There was never any going back for me. The counselling was ultimately going to be for the benefit of DD so we could Co=Parent her to the best of our abilities as possible under the circumstances. Him having counselling means there's been no need for us both to have it IYKWIM??? as it was him that was having the issues with accepting what was happening and coping with the separation etc.

He still has his moments of behaving like an immature a r s e hat which is frustrating but I'm hoping the fact he's just begun to dip his toe into the dating pool again (he's been on 2 dates with this lady who lives just around the corner from my place FFS's!!!) might help him to resolve his feelings of anger/hurt etc towards me that he still has for ending the relationship and he might start to move forward and act more like the grown up he's meant to be!!!
