Thanks ladies. I'm officially PUPO it was starting to hatch, but I had asked for assisted hatching also so they done that too just before the transfer so it was fully hatched when transferred. He said the zona was thick so it's good I asked! I had asked for that previously and was told it wasn't needed, now makes me wonder if that was a factor for previous failures. But I'm trying not to focus on that.

There is always hope Luv even though the odds may not be in our favour due to age. Nevertheless, the chances aren't zero!!! Dr Andy will be able to tell you better what your chances are (called the Live Birth Rate..ask him about that for your age group) and how many Cycles or transfers of embryo's that's likely to take etc as he will have his own success rate as will the Clinic.

We are all here to help you get you get your head around anything you might need assistance with or don't understand etc ok Luv?? There's a lot of experienced (unfortunately) Lovelies here on the thread who will be more than happy to guide you through or answer questions, explain things etc
Thank you! There is so much to know and understand! I've no idea what questions to ask but I'm going to write things down as you suggested and come back here loaded with questions to ask you all!

Just a couple of hours until I know where we are at!

So terrified but hoping for some kind of good news!

I'm sure you'll be able to start a Cycle asap (hopefully you've got a period due soon or as we call it here on the forum "AF" which is short for Aunt Flow) so you can get cracking!!!

    Good Luck with your appointment!!!

So I'm deciding what to do all on my own and if need be ill just go ahead on my own. I had a look in the EDA site, jeez how depressing it's like a competition on who has the saddest story and is most deserving of someone's eggs. Don't think I can compete with the " my husband is dying" or " cancer treatments made me infertile" stories and it is so unpredictable on how long you could wait.

Just playing Devil's Advocate for a moment....but the average wait for a donor on EDA is about 10 weeks If you are active on the site, support others, go to meetups and comment on FB and the forum, that can be even less.

FWIW I spoke to about 8 donors within a few weeks and I had an offer within a couple of weeks of posting my ad up. I was just positive and supportive. I found that the more upbeat and supportive you are, the better the outcome
