Default Which skin care routine do you use?

I have never used a proper skin care range and am interested in investing in something and giving it a go. I'm over 40 so would like the good eye cream/age moisturiser etc. Can anyone point out what I should look into?

The main thing I can recommend is make sure you get a moisturiser with SPF in it, preferably SPF 30 if you can find it but I think most have SPF 15. I follow a basic cleanse, tone and moisturise routine.

Cleanse - I use Cetaphil cleanser
Tone - I use Nivea refreshing toner
Moisturise - I use Olay complete defense (SPF 30) during the day and a Natio renewing moisturiser at night.

I am often complemented on my skin because I've followed the basic cleanse, tone, moisturise process since my early teens.

I change products regularly as I like to try new things, but I have found that I prefer a moisturising foam cleanser & a rich moisturiser that absorbs nicely into the skin.

In the colder months I find my skin is drier, so I like to add an exfoliant and a face oil (rose hip is good). I still exfoliate in summer, just not as often.

I recently tried some Paula's Choice products via samples that I ordered online and I was impressed. I would definitely look at purchasing some of these products in the future.
