Default Accom in Europe with kids! Budget friendly

    Hey everyone,

We are travelling overseas in Sept/Oct with our two kids, 4 & 1. Flights are sorted out, but we just need to sort out accomodation & hoping for some budget friendly tips as we'd like to not spend too much. We are hiring a car and driving through France and Switzerland, as well as staying England. I've looked at Air BnB & we've found some reasonably priced accom but hoping for some tips and tricks for keeping costs low! We'll be there for 4 weeks.

In the uk use premier inns and travelodges. Nice enough basic accommodation that isn't ridiculously priced! Have you thought about checking out hostels? Because it's such a big tourist destination there are loads of hostels and I would assume they are family friendly?

Thanks, I'll check them out! Haven't really thought of hostels actually, I guess I had the typical backpacker style of hostel in my head so didn't really even consider them!
