    Default Random food question

If I have sausages that expire today, would it be safe to cook them today, refrigerate them, and eat them tomorrow?

Tried googling but couldn't find an answer... 😕

did you just buy them? I'd prob sniff then see. if they smell ok then cook tonight and use up. if they smell a bit off may be better to just toss. what meat are they? (or what meat do try claim to be haha)

I'd do just that. Cook them, refrigerate and reheat tomorrow.

Haha, they claim to be beef! I bought them 2 days ago... might get DH to give them a sniff when he gets home. I'm not game! 😅

beef is usually pretty forgiving. chicken I'd probably be more hesitant with.
