Default Valco Baby Snap Ultra Tailormade or Mountain Buggy Cosmopolitan

    Hi all,

First time mum to be and in the process of looking for a pram.

I want something that I can take on daily walks, but is still light enough to easily lift into the car and that looks modern.

Another option was the silver cross pioneer, but felt like the Valco ticked all the boxes at half the price?

I am currently tossing up between the Valco Baby Snap Ultra Tailormade or the Mountain Buggy Cosmopolitan.

If I were to get the Valco, I would also get the all terrain wheels - has anyone used these and found that they are sufficient?

If anyone has experience, pros and cons with either pram, I would love some feedback to help make my decision. Thank you!

I've got the Valco snap ultra and love it! It's so light and easy to put up and down. I was looking at he silvercross too but went with Valco on price and have zero regrets. We bought the silver one and bought a nice cotton liner for it to keep bubba snug.

Thanks for the reply! How do you find it goes if you take it for a walk? And how does your child find it - do they seem comfy? The person in the shop said you can really notice that there is no suspension and a 1 year old will notice this - but I am not sure if they were just trying to convince me to go end.

My baby is 10 months old and she loves it. She never looks uncomfortable. If you are going across rough ground it can be a big bouncy but i tend to stick to paths. But one walk I do is on a dirt track and it's fine but it's a pretty smooth track. We were actually talked into the Valco by the sales lady, she told us not to waste our money on a more expensive model. She said most of the extra goes into padding etc which we just made up for with extra blankets.

I too have the Valco with the all terrain wheels. I researched extensively for a very light pram that had the proper wheels and an adjustable footrest. My boy loves it! No complaints here

Default Valco Baby Snap Ultra Tailormade or Mountain Buggy Cosmopolitan

I have the valco snap 3 with an insert, plus when younger had a foot cover ( to fully enclose) and I love it, cheap, light, easy up and down. So glad I didn't get anything big and cumbersome. It was one of few valcos I'd seen, my ds is 22 mths going strong, I have however now seen some months ago the massive range of valcos at the baby expo and yes I think they have something for every taste at half the price.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! Sounds like you can't go wrong with the valco.
Does anyone know if the max weight the pram can take is 20kg including the weight in the basket? Or can the basket hold an additional weight on top of the 20kg?
Also, for anyone who got the sports wheels, do you notice the difference? Would you recommend them?
    Thank you
