We spent about 6k. I could give rough estimates of everything but we've been married for about 15 years so obviously prices have changed. That got us a beautiful wedding including everything bar the honeymoon.

Some of these figures have me

We spent approx $45, 000. I don't remember the exact breakdown but it was only a smallish wedding, 90 people total including the band and photographers.

Nearly 20 years ago so don't remember the breakdown. But less than $5k for everything. We had 120 guests.

Default How much did your wedding cost...

About 30 grand, but it was probably more than that because my mum did so much in addition such as invites, cake, buying wine glasses, she did our high tea. I've no idea how much that stuff cost. This didn't include a honeymoon

    Breakdown of the bigger items:

$1500 flights to get home (married in my home country)

$4675 food for 85 people, the food was amazing! It was $55 per head and totally worth it

$2500 on the bar, it was meant to be cash after this ran out but DH and I finished the tab when we left, with the best man. We were the last people to leave 😂

My dress plus veil: $2400. Love love loved my dress. I had a designer make it.

$4700 on rings. Dhs is set in platinum with rubies, mine is also in platinum with 13 diamonds. We had a 55% discount here as well as we know the jeweller! But I love my ring!

    Reception venue hire was $1000

    Photographer: $1200
    Videographer:$1100

Celebrant, $200, decorations, $1000, Dhs suit $300, boys shirts, shoes and toes (they bought their suits, bridesmaids their dresses) was around $400

Hair and make was around $500, flowers were $600.

Presents for bridal party and parents was around $700. (24 people to buy for 😂)

I think that's all the big things!

I don't regret it at all! We still have a huge house deposit saved, and the wedding actually only cost us around $7000 as our parents paid for the rest.

    Best day of my life

Ours was about $50k can't remember the exact breakdown but the big tickets were

    Venue/reception -$15k
    dress - $6k
Both of these were paid by my parents.

    stationary - $2k
    Flowers - $2.5k
    2 nights accom - $2k
    Bridesmaid/flower girls - $2.5k
    Photographer - $3.5k

With the benefit of hindsight i wouldn't spend that again, but it's so easy to get carried away!

Oh yes, I should add that $21k of our $27k was paid for by our lovely and generous parents, so our wedding only cost us personally $6000 & we ended up with over that in cash gifts & vouchers so it was cost neutral for us. We are very very lucky.

Hubby and I didn't have much money for our wedding 3 years ago, but it was lovely none-the-less. We had a garden wedding on my Brother's farm, a gorgeous sunny day in mid October.

Dress - It was a retro swing dress I had made for me, approx $500

    Hubby's suit - $300

    Rings - $600 (His) and $900 (Mine)

    Celebrant - $800

Flowers (Wedding bouquet from the local florist, and it was stunning ) $120

Reception (A high tea for 60 guests) - Family did the catering: Sandwiches, slices, coffee, tea, juice, minimal alcohol - $1,600

Cake - Local Bakery made it and it was gorgeous. A double tiered chocolate mud cake with the white fondant icing - $250

    Chairs/Plates/Glasses/Tables - Hired - $200

Photography - Free! Thanks you to my sister, a professional photographer.

For our honeymoon, we spent a week camping in the national forest near Bateman's Bay. It was right on the beach, and had no phone reception. It was fabulous Cost - All up including food, fuel, camping fees - $500 or so.

Our wedding and honeymoon were not expensive by any means but in the end, it was the marriage that counted to us, not the wedding itself. I wouldn't change a thing!

Total was close to $100,000 I'll break down the bits I know off the top of my head. This was for 95 people.

    Dress: $6000

Suits & shoes DH + best man: $7000

    Wedding planner/stylist: $5000

    Stationary: $2000

    Venue: $10000

    Catering: $25000

    Photographer: $10000

    Cake: $1100

    Flowers: $4000

    Band: $3500

I'm not sure on the rest. The catering didn't include alcohol. That total figure doesn't include, accomodation, rings, honeymoon.
Wowzer! And here I am thinking we spent too much paying $7k! 😂😂 What was your menu?
