    Default Changing due date?

    My due date has jumped back and forth a couple days which I believe is common, I've based how far along I am on my first scan where they said I was 8 weeks on that day, but then at my 12 week scan a week ago they said I'm actually 11w5d but they won't change my due date for 2 days.

    I know it really doesn't make any difference in the big picture, but I get confused now as to exactly how far along I am. Do I just go by 8 week scan seeing as that's the due date I'm sticking with? So tomorrow I'm 13w not 12w5d? I get asked at blood tests etc and then I wonder which one I should be giving.

    Go off your 8 week scan. It's the one they are using so it's best to be consistent and plus from my understanding, it's the most accurate as further along in pregnancy, the foetus will start developing in its own individual size where as at 8 weeks, they are all the same

    Yep consistency is best. I think it's silly to change due date. Just cos baby happens to be slightly bigger or smaller on any given day had nothing to do with his gestational age. Only reason to change dates is if you don't know when you ovulated, but after first scan it should stay same.
