    Oh I want photos too!

OP, many years ago my Aunty baked a cake and went next door to welcome her new neighbour. While they were there my cousin and the neighbours DD, both 4, decided to cut each other's hair. My cousin just ended up with a short fringe. The neighbours DD ended up with her pony tail chopped off. My Aunty was mortified!!! Luckily the neighbour saw the funny side (after a trip to the hairdresser).

Sounds hilarious! But I can see why you'd be angry too, lol! I really want to see pics too. I really hope DD never does this... She's almost 5 though so hopefully is past that stage!

I did cry when dd1 did it. She was so cute and put her arms around me and said "it's ok mum I can sticky tape it back on."

I'd be ****ed if my daughter cut her brother's hair, but hers...well...it's her hair. She can have it however she likes (even if I think it looks ridiculous). How do they feel about their new haircuts?

I did this when I was in year 3. Clearly remember doing it, but still have no idea what possessed me. I had a bob to begin with and I had cut my fringe basically back to the hairline. School photos were a week later and to top it off I was missing a front tooth and had one starting to come through. I look like an utter hobo in the school photo but my family can laugh about it now!
