Default Berwick - St John of God obs

    Hello all

I'm new to this forum. I have a 20 month old and after his traumatic birth I have decided to go private for the next bub.

We have just started TTC (last time we were very lucky and it happened instantly) so I want to get a short-list of obs for the next one.

If you have seen an ob at St John of God in Berwick, I'd be really grateful if you could PM me your experiences.

My son's birth ended in emergency forceps because his heart rate kept dropping (due to pressure on the cord). They kept saying they would do an emergency c-section, but in the end tried for emergency forceps instead. I sustained some very nasty tears into my bowel, which still affect me today and give me a slightly increased risk of fecal incontinence if it happens again. So I want an ob sensitive to my anxiety and happy to perform an elective Caesar. Please don't judge me for this!

Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm seeing Dr Peter Yong who works at Berwick, he is so lovely! Had him for #1 at a different hospital and now having him again for #2 at Berwick. Highly recommended. Friends of our used him too and had two c-sections.

I highly recommend Mark Tarrant. I've seen him as both a GYN and OB patient. When I asked my GP for a GYN referral and said I'd been given Mark's name by a friend, she said Mark is who she would see as a patient as well. I thought this said a lot for him. His pregnancy management fees are very reasonable as well.

I know a few ladies who have seen Jaques Lam and all speak highly of him.
