Default Empty gestational sac 1.5cm size 7 weeks 6 days

So I am 8 weeks pregnant tomorrow.
Had an ultrasound 2nd May which I was around 5 weeks 4 days the sac measured at 10mm nothing else was seen.
My HCG levels were up to 20,000 by 6 weeks.
Went and had a return ultrasound today 7 weeks and 6 days the sac was now measuring 1.5cm once again nothing else was seen.
They haven't diagnosed anything yet just said it may be too early, if nothing is seen by 2.5cm sac then they will worry.
Please if anyone else experienced this or something similar? How did it turn out?
They say not too worry but you can't help it.

    I couldn't read and run.

I did go through a similar experience myself but my outcome could well be completely different to yours.

Are you 100% sure of your dates hon?

    Big hugs to you

I had an empty sac at 7 week scan, but my hcg levels were low so I knew before the scan it wasn't going to be good news. For me it was just about seeing where the sac actually was.

If you are certain of your dates I would be thinking along the lines of possibly a missed mc. A fetal pole/heartbeat should be seen by 7 weeks. If there's any uncertainty about your dates then it could just be too early. Regardless though, a second scan is warranted to see exactly what's happening. Good luck.

I had the same but only discovered it at 10 weeks so the outcome was pretty clear. I'm sorry you don't have a definitive answer! If it were me I'd be asking to see a specialist / get further testing rather than waiting for a scan.

My situation was very similar to @M'LadyEm after an IVF cycle my numbers were very low so I was prepared for the worst unfortunately and it turned out to be a blighted ovum (empty sac, baby didn't develop). That doesn't mean to say your situation will be the same hopefully your dates could be a little out, really hoping it works out for you hun x

Your dates could be out. I've heard plenty of stories where that happened.

My story is not good though. My hcg levels were within normal range but I had spotting and scans measuring behind dates. I did have a heartbeat for two weeks but the HB stopped at 7+5. Instinctively I knew it wasn't going to end well I think

I had a similar thing about 5 years ago, baby was measuring behind by 1 week, then it got to 10 days at one stage, they pushed my due date 12 days out from my LMP date. She's 4.5 now & ended up arriving 1 day after my LMP due date! She did have a strong heartbeat at my first scan at what should have been 7 weeks though. Hopefully you just have a slow starter

Had very similar situation, did ultrasound later on and all was good. Just do blood test every couple days.

    Good luck
