Default Slow response to IVF drugs?

    Hello,

I am 22 years old with early ovarian failure due to a genetic disease. I am currently undergoing an egg freezing cycle but I do not appear to be responding to the drugs with an AMH of 0.9

I am on 450 iu Gonal-F a day, I had bloods done on day 10 and my estrogen levels are only at 119. I am going back for more bloods on day 13 but I think it's going to be cancelled

Has anyone else had this problem with Gonal-F?

I'm sorry you're having a crappy cycle. IVF sucks a lot of the time.
Bear in mind a lot can happen between blood/scan days so you might be surprised. Don't lose hope just yet!
If this cycle is cancelled, it might be an idea to talk to your FS about Elonva- it's a long acting FSH you inject day 2 & lasts for a week, that combined with Luveris and DHEA treatment (6 weeks before cycle), with gonal top ups if needed from day 8 or so is what did the trick for me (AMH < 1).
Good luck! I hope you get s nice surprise at your next BT.

Yes I have a 2 year old DD and am 16 weeks along with my second (FET from the same EPU as DD).
We had 2 failed cycles with "standard" meds, changed clinics, new meds and had success.
My new clinic seemed much more open to newer treatment protocols, where the first clinic was very much try again with the same protocol.
ETA: I was 30 at the time so the FS seemed to think it was a quantity rather than a quality issue with my eggs.
