    I'm a WA nurse also, although curently employed.
    Has the aged care sector also go nothing at the moment? Silver Chain? Aged care Night duty?
    Both heavy work I know, but just for the interim.
    What bout Practice nursing?
    I recieve updates from SEEK regularly with what is being advertised.
    I know it seems a long time away, but things usually pick up after the end of the financial year.
    Hang in there x

    This. I was on newstart when employed but not earning nearly enough to survive usually.

    If I earned too much in the fortnight I didn't get a payment.

    I can't remember the exact timeframe or whether it's changed but you got cut off if you got no payments after 6 fortnights or something. (Eta: but you could always reapply later if things changed again).

    Apply now!!!!

    I have been applying for aged care roles . Happy to work in practice but every ad says you need experience in GP. I have applied for all 3 sites of silver chain. I didn't get an interview.

    I don't have any advice, but wanted to give you a it sucks when you're industrious but things don't go your way. Hang in there as hard as it, something will come along.
    @KatiesMum, you are a gem.

    Would you consider going remote for work? I know nothing about your home and personal life - but i know i get at least 1 email a week looking for remote nurses in WA.

    Do you have any interest in women's health? Cheap IVF is big business now and I see plenty of jobs advertised for the East Coast. If you are interested maybe there is something in your area.....? Just a thought.
