@midnite01 sorry to hear you're so sick!! I hope you are keeping warm, we had the central gas heating when we lived in Melbs and it was brilliant. Just wanted to say too that just the other day I read that reverse cycle air con (electricity) is actually supposed to be more energy efficient and cheaper than gas. It surprised me as I always thought gas was cheaper. It might be worth looking into. Our winter elec bills are a killer, Ive just changed companies and am now getting monthly bills so we don't get stung with the near $700 nasty.

yes I think @Blossom74 is being little miss secretive lately isn't she. she's keeping us all guessing in here Spill ALL the beans at once young lady!!!

love @Molros lining suggestion, love a good shiraz or pinot! I might try it next time

@tuxcat Sounds good, plus her medications/prescriptions and also you may need to cover her partners days off. I told my donor to factor in (a minimum) two days off (incl EPU day) for her and her partner but think she only billed me for one.

Yes good point. So did you put money into her account upfront or did she keep a list of costs and then send you them as they happened?
