Wow girls I am MIA for a few days and it has taken me an hour to catch up! Lots going on here. Congratulations on having your donor on board @tuxcat. @Blossom74 it's good to see you so happy again. @tegs26 I had early bleeding too. It was all fine however and apparently really common. I haven't seen the four corners episode yet but the paediatrician who came to see Bub this morning mentioned it. He was pretty disgusted with the angle they took.
AFM induction started later than scheduled as the labour ward was full. When we finally got underway things started fast. I had contraction start straight away but my cervix refused to dilate more than 3cm. So we had the membranes ruptured and then syntocoanin started. Still it was slow progress. 18 hours later it was decided to turn off the epidural so I could feel contractions to push. 2 hours of pushing later I was freaking exhausted and bub was not coming out in a hurry. Doc came in and they used the suction to prise bubba out. Thank God. So big bubba cone head entered the world but little bubba wanted to stay tucked up in the womb. I was bleeding a bit too so they took me off to surgery to 'manually remove' little bubba. Got back to maternity at 11:20 last night. Very happy but sad too that little bubba didn't get to enter the world in a more natural way. Oh and we have a little girl. Eryn weighing in at 3.38kg.

congratulations @faithandhopellove! sounds exhausting for you. I'm sorry little bubba wanted to stay put a bit longer, I guess you got to experience 2 kinds of births. Eryn's a beautiful name. rest up now!

@tuxcat She kept a list of costs and I paid her halfway through the cycle and then at the end.

@faithandhopellove huge congrats, so glad you and Eryn are safe and sound. I love, love the name Sorry little bubba didn't come into the world in the way you would have liked.

AFM I had a midwives appointment today (27 weeks) and all is well. I think the aches and pains/fatigue is easing, finally getting the second trimester relief, shame it's the first day of third tri tomorrow Next stop 30 week scan end of June.
