@faithandhopellove Good Luck Lovely!!!
JulieMalooley. Hope you're feeling better every day. I know that it was de that got you those two amazing bubs but seriously the little on your left holding fingers on his face looks like you!!
So happy you got there in the end and very inspiring!
@Tahli sorry to hear about your grandfather.
I don't have any other advice about toilet training, but really try to persist with taking him out every 2 hours and stand there saying toilet. When he goes say toilet excitedly and give him a treat. It takes a while but they get there.
@faithandhopellove, sending lots of good luck your way today. Big hugs to you hon
@Tahli, I'm very sorry to hear of your Grandfather passing. No matter how close you were, it's still a broken link in the chain. Big hugs lovely

Hello to everyone else!
So, a quick question for you all. Obviously this is something I will have to address with my FS, but as I can't do that ATM I wanted to ask you all about the MTHKR thingy. I have NO IDEA if I've ever been tested for it. I'm thinking probably not. And I've been taking a massive dose of folate for a year now.
1. Is this something my GP can order a test for?
2. Is the folate likely to have any negative effect on me?
3. What about NK cells? Can a GP order that test? Or does it have to be a FS?
Thanks for any advice
@Blossom74 I had a blood test for MTHFR gene and had to pay for it as it isn't covered by Medicare. So I'd imagine you'd know if you'd had it? I think the BT was about $40 from memory. I have a half gene issue (or something) and Wazza increased my folate from 5 to 10mg/day - his standard for all patients is 5mg I believe. In terms of safety I trust Wazza and am concerned about neural tube defects (as I've worked with kids with spina bifida), so I haven't questioned it. I'm don't have any side effects from it and currently crave rocket and spinach, so my body wants even more folate. I imagine your GP could request the BT.
With NK cells that was tested via biopsy, so mine was checked when I had my first flush and scratch prior to ET. So I'd imagine that will have to be with your FS. Again there is a pathology charge for the biopsy. I cannot remember how much it was. The joy of IVF, money just runs away!
