Bubs arrived safely and right on schedule on Tuesday am, but I didn't fare so well. I lost around 6 litres of blood and had to be opened up again for a hysterectomy to stop the bleeding. They apparently 'nearly lost me' and poor DP didn't know what was going on for 3-4 hours. I'll deal with the hysterectomy in time I guess, but in the meantime here are our bubs

@JulieMalooley - wow that all sounds very traumatic! My friend also had a similar thing happen - but was due to undiagnosed placenta accreta.
Congrats on the arrival of your twins - lovely names.
Hope your recovery is smooth.
bubs are beautiful! congratulations!
that would have been traumatic. my friend had a similar thing too - but the bleeding started once she got home and they had to rush her back. quite frightening. I hope you're ok.
so sorry @Rhino it bloody sucks b@lls what is your next move? Or are you taking a break?
@Blossom74 vanilla slices for dinner sounds the ticket, have to admit sometimes I skip the main course and go straight for the chocolate in the fridge. A bit too often these days. I am beginning to realise how much I relied on a glass of wine after work.
@faithhopeandllove good luck with your iron......what I wouldn't do for a guinness!
Congratulations JulieMalooley on the birth of your beautiful twins Charlotte & Jackson
Sorry to hear there were complications, it would have been very traumatic. Wishing you a speedy recovery
Charlotte and Jackson are beautiful hun. What a wonderful achievement for such a long hard struggle. I'm so very very sorry for the trauma of your surgery. I'm guessing it will take quite some time to grieve the loss of your reproductive organs and what that means for the future. In the meantime I'm so glad you have such wonderful family support to help during your surgical recovery. I hope you're still able to enjoy getting to know Charlotte and Jackson's little personalities. DP is also in my thoughts. It must have been an incredibly scary time for him, and for your close family. If there's anything I can do for you, way down here in Vic, please sing out. Tender kisses for C&J and a gentle hug for you and DP...now a little family of four.
JulieMalooley. Glad you're still with us.
Just taking a minute here.... holy fruck!
Now I'm over the shock I can say congratulations. Your bubs are beautiful. Hope you have a speedy recovery love.
