@Tahli, thank you for checking in on me. I am trying to draw strength from your lovely words.

I am ok. Just ok. I think yesterday drew up a whole lot of painful memories that I have not dealt with properly, and it kind of took me by surprise. I will be alright of course but am just working through stuff at the moment. Sorry I'm not my usual cheery self.

I had hoped to log on and see some good news from JM today. I hope everything has gone well for her and she is holding her two little bubbas in her arms.

    Having vanilla slices for dinner....

You can have as many vanilla slices and pieces of cake as you bloody-well please while you work through your stuff Luv as far as I'm concerned and don't apologise either!!!

Ok Girls.....JM has been in and updated very quickly. I don't think she'll mind me giving a very quick summary for you due to the circumstances.

Both bubs have arrived safe and sound She, on the other hand, experienced a serious complication that took some time to rectify but thankfully they have been able to sort it out and she is ok Lovelies.

I'm sure once she is rested and has regained her strength etc, she'll be in to give a detailed update for you

I'm taking folic acid only as pregnancy vitamins make me ill but elevit is the preferred one to take
@MissDa My docs/nurses have told me i-folic and a good dose of vitamin D. So I just take those two.

hmmm... maybe something going on with your absorption and gut health @MissDa.... I'd try taking a very good probiotic, liver support and fiber product for at least a month. Then try again. Diarrhea is also a detox type of effect so if you are on pure, potent, pharmaceutical grade supplements (the only I'd recommend!) then your body may be cleaning itself up... just a thought...

Anything with magnesium makes me ill, i eat well, exercise etc etc, recent evidence shows no benefit in your normal vitamin supplements, elevit is definetly the gold standard for pregnancy but FS is perfectly happy with folic acid only.
I have bowel problems and am currently caring for my mother who has had major bowel surgery so am maybe a bit hypersensitive on the subject.
On my second own egg cycle I did EVERYTHING!!!! Every frucking vitamin, supplement, high protein, no caffeine, alkaline diet etc etc and had none fertilise! after that I said fruck it!

Just i-Folic for me too. I did take some extra magnesium when I got leg cramps but I don't know that it helped much. Thinking of taking some iron and vitamin C combo as Doc was concerned about some dizzy spells I have been having. Had iron studies and a full blood count done today but I figure sooner is better than later.

    Hi ladies
Do any of you have high blood pressure? I went to GP today and it was 160/95. I'm only on wazza's supplements and 5mg prednisone. So can't be meds. I have put on weight from cycles. For those on high bp meds did you find it interfered with your ivf cycles?
Did you find the ivf medications and blood pressure tablets are ok together?
Sorry just having a freak out about another blOODY thing to stress out about. I've been told to monitor for a week or so and come back to GP. I'm actually just at the point where I'll take the medication just because it's easier than trying to lower it naturally by cutting salt or loosing weight.

I was on a ****e load of stuff up until my last 2 cycles then I though fruck it too. I actually saw a post from a lady who paired everything back as she said it was stressing her out taking all the supplements (and paying for it too). That was pretty much the case for me. I kept taking the ubiquinol and stayed away from some of the inflammatory dietary stuff (things I know I react to like gluten) but otherwise tried the less stress approach. Having said that I have no idea if it helped or hindered. I just got sick of taking so much stuff.
