@Caesardust I just stalked you. I am sorry Hun. Like me you seem to be in limbo but you seem to have a plan going forward in donor eggs.
Molros I never think of a cold as being too bad until you get a real stinker like I had a couple of months ago. jeeze it can be horrible.
I am going well thanks still tired and cranky but that's pretty good at this stage I think. You ladies travelling to europe I am very envious!! I am a big whisky fan too so a trip to the Isle of Skye would be lots of fun (not in my current state however) I also saw a lot of the UK and greece in my younger years (maybe I bumped into some of you in the 90's?) I am on the verge of booking 3 weeks in England to see my folks over xmas however but I think we won't be able to travel around, boo.
@faithandhopellove the formatting is a b!atch isn't it!! I had a very simple roll call and it still gave me gyp. Grr.
so sorry @Bradders and @Deskar big hugs to you both
and @Blossom74 I'm a bit worried about what else has got you so down
Not much to report here, we put some grass down after ripping up our courtyard and the two whippets haven't dug it up yet, it's lovely and green, a win for now (before it dies from lack of sunlight and weepoos) Ah so domestic, I wish I was going to Croatia!

Lol Charlie my accent also comes out when talking to my parents or relatives or when I have had too many drinks. I was thinking that when we had lunch, I wouldn't have picked you for a Glaswegian. It was funny that I was teased at school, but in my 20's people would say "oh you are Irish, speak with an Irish accent" I would tell them it wasn't a lilting Dublin accent but a harsh Ulster accent that they wouldn't understand.
Yes with the scan my husband was also with me. We went in to the room with the lady who called me and I guess it was the head sonographer that followed us in and and said to our lady, let me know if you need any help. My husband and I just looked at each other. I had told him beforehand what Tahli and you had said so I guess he was forewarned.
calypso75 thanks for asking as well as can be expected I think, they've kept themselves busy but it was heartbreaking around mother's day so soon after my SIL's death, I didn't realise canada was the same date as ours. I wear one of her rings now and then and it reminds me to put a little colour in my life, she was so gregarious and into colourful fashion (unlike me!)
@calypso75 those northern accents are so hard to understand!! Back in the day I hooked up with a fireman (unfortunately not in uniform) in Belfast and I could barely understand anything he said...turned out it didn't matter tho
The Scottish accent Im pretty good with as Ive spent a lot of time around Scots. The other week DH and I were watching a doco with a Glaswegian criminal dude and DH couldn't understand anything he was saying, and I was struggling too. They needed subtitles!! But yeah, I reckon the Northern Ireland accent is one of the hardest.
Thanks for the roll call @faithandhopellove its really handy to know where people are at as otherwise I have no idea.
@Bongley thats really nice about your SILs ring, its nice to have little reminders of people you've lost, sometimes reminds you to put stuff into perspective I think. The backyard sounds nice, lets hope the doggies arent being naughty as we speak
and just on the nurses doing the scans, I find that completely outrageous!! Through RPA they send us to Syd Ultrasound for women where the Sonographers are very experienced and are trained Sonographers. And thats a public system clinic!!! I would seriously complain about that, for the amount of money you pay these people that just seems so bad to me. I have a feeling tho when I did that one cycle at IVFA it was all in-house and it was probably a nurse too as it seemed very basic compared to where I was used to.
I wish I was going overseas too!!!
I used to live in Dublin and was married to a Dubliner. Incidentally I had the hottest dream about him lastnight, completely out of nowhere! I developed the Irish lilt but it's all gone now. I remember sitting in a pub post separation and an elderly man said to me "Didn't anyone tell you...Irish men make incredible lovers but losey husbands".
Sexiest male accent by faaaar is the Scottish accent. Yum!!!
CD1 for me today and not having to worry about meds is glorious! Oh and I just ate chocolate and don't have to feel guilty. There's some benefits to not cycling ladies!!
