Now I'm crying too! And I'm at work on my lunch break. Crying in my soup. You are very strong and brave women. I've only had the heartbreak of bfn. Can't imagine how you cope with a bfp followed by mc. I would be a mess. 😬

for all the Lovelies that need them right now

I wish words of comfort and support would just flow from the keyboard and wrap around all who need it like a cloak around the shoulders against the fog, but alas my mind is a scattered mess from the new medication x2 I'm taking for my "Mental Health Issues" (for real Girls, I'm not sh!tting you..my previous stuff was making me put on weight and crave sugar non-bloody-stop!!) and I can barely string two words together let alone a whole sentence!!!!

A paragraph or 3?? Forget it!!

I found it helpful to speak to the counselor too - it wasn't something I'd ever done before but afterwards I was glad to have done it. she spoke & asked questions and let me speak and tear up. I was a mess that day too - worse than usual as I'd just had to wait with all the young pg ladies for my last scan. if your clinic offers free counseling session, I'd recommend going to see them. hope you're feeling better soon
Thanks for the advice ,I might seek one out when I do a cycle. I'm actually okay, just have waves of emotions sometimes that hit me. There was a fair bit of expectation riding on this cycle since it was the first wazza/Charlotte one.

When a cycle fails we all need to grieve it, in whatever is the best way for us. I only talk to DH and one other friend IRL about IVF. Others know about it, but I don't discuss it as I've found they were unempathic, perhaps great about cycle one, but not understanding as we kept cycling and I've just found it's better to keep it private. A counsellor might be helpful if they have an understanding of IVF and fertility. Maybe see the counsellors at QFG? With a counsellor you don't have to worry about their feelings, how you come across, or things being brought back to haunt you if you go off on a tangent or think out loud, so it can be cathartic.
Ha @Gagingi I'm always hard on myself!! I try not too but.. I think also it was my first cycle with Charlotte warren and I was expecting SO much. Thanks xx

Ah @BlondeinBrisvegas I knew all that stuff you were going through with your ex must be hard going. Changing meds is a biatch too.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts. DS has gone to sleep, just waiting until I can ring for the results which is not until after 2pm. I just cleaned the kitchen to pass the time and the clock has barely moved!
@Blossom and those that have miscarried I can't say from my point of view that getting the 'take home baby' helped grieve the losses, if anything it made it worse because DS helps me imagine what they would/ could have been like. It gets bearable with time but it's not without pain. I don't discuss it in 'real life' except that I have had counselling after the first loss which really helped me going forward.
