Getting horribly dumped by (what I had thought was) the love of my life at 23. Packed up my life and moved to the UK for six months. This turned into 4 years. Spent six months of each year traveling (almost all solo). I changed so much as a person, made some amazing friends. Wouldn't change a thing, and so thankful now to that ex- it all led me to who and where I am now!

Leaving home at 17.5 to attend uni. I grew up, I learnt a lot, both academic and life skills and met all sorts of people including DH.

    Schoolies on the Gold Coast.

It was everything the media made it out to be. First time interstate, in an apartment with my mates. A group of 15 of us went together. So much fun and frivolity. I was underage but so were most of the group.
I'm pleased my folks trusted me enough to go.

Mine was just recent, having my gastric sleeve surgery. Since having the surgery and losing weight I am more confident and don't want to not be noticed anymore so I have had the courage to get more wild hair styles, bigger tattoos and funkier clothes. My surgery has helped me find me and I am finally becoming happy

Living in Italy for 6 months. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Becoming a single mum, as silly as it sounds. Learning that no matter what my kids come first and I can do it all if needed. I learnt so much about myself and the world as I was still in my early 20's.
Knowing that I can still do it all.
I am so bloody proud of myself but now I'm in a committed relationship and we have kids I am starting to learn how to ask for help not be so independent and rely on him a little bit
