    I always wanted some Nick Cave at our wedding - Ship Song or Into my arms but DH not a Nick Cave fan (one of his few faults, so I overlooked it)

    I despise Nick Cave's music and DH loves him. I agreed to Brompton Oratory during the ceremony because if I looked past the Nick Cave aspect, it's actually a really lovely song.

    Just thought I'd share that tidbit of information.

    Honestly hun, do ones that best represent you and your DF. Maybe ones that hold a significant memory for you. Even if you think it wont go, no one really notices and any song when turned up loud enough will sound amazing!

    Wow! I really only remember the "controversial" people. Not as good as I used to be.

    But, my wedding was very small and very casual. We weren't even going to do a first dance (although I did have songs chosen) because our wedding didn't really follow the routine of a normal wedding so by the time people realised we hadn't done one, we'd had a few too many drinks. I will remember when I look through the list of songs.
