A girl from work had that sleeping at last version of 500 miles as she walked down the aisle. And then the original as the recessional which was cool!

I've also heard it done with "you're the one that I want" from grease. Then the original as the recessional. There's some amazing covers of it.

If you're not already on it, join Spotify. It helped me a lot when planning our music. And I think you get a month or two free. Use it to find your songs and then unsub!
I've had my processional song picked for years. That part was easy. Also the songs playing while we sign the certificate etc. and recessional. It's all the songs for the reception that have me all confused. I'm so worried I'm going to settle for something and then like a day after the wedding I'll think of something better.

It doesn't help that I'm VERY eclectic in my music tastes. For our entrance to the reception were having Queen- don't stop me 😜

    Pfft, lyrics schmrics.

Guess that rules out Bust a Move and anything Roxette.

    I. LOVE. ROXETTE. disgustingly sloppy kind of love.

Lyrics are only a big deal for the first dance.
Any other time I'm open to suggestions.
I really feel that maybe for our reception entrance we should maybe have Ludacris, move bi7ch.. That would be fun.. My nana would love it!

I think Closer by Nine Inch Nails is more fitting.

We did our first dance to Chasing cars by snow patrol.
I let it up to my DH to pick that song the only criteria i gave him was it had to be a song that reminded him of me.
From your list lighthouse you&me i love that song and the lyrics

    Good luck

I hated choosing music. And I never had a 1st dance. Too hard to pick songs!

I only ever had my 'walk down the aisle' song picked out early and it was Ben Folds -The Luckiest. It could work for 1st dance.

When is the wedding btw? And did you find somewhere to honeymoon?

And how long until the wedding?

    Default Wedding Music

We had Better Together by Jack Johnson for our first dance and With Me by Sum 41 for our cake cutting. I'm struggling to remember other songs we had which might give you inspiration! Oh we had Lucky by Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat somewhere, I may have walked down the aisle to that (it was less than 5 years ago, my memory is shot 😂).

From your list, I really like you and me by life house, great song!

ETA I walked down the aisle to the Norah Jones version of Love Me Tender 😊
