    Default Heartburn? Too early?

I'm 4w6d and I've had heartburn this afternoon and yesterday. Is it possible that this is pregnancy related already?? I did have it quite bad in my first pregnancy but it wasn't until much much further along.

Sadly in my experience it's never too early! I have had bouts of it from about 5 weeks. It usually has a food trigger for me though, such as dairy or wheat.

I had terrible heartburn from about 4-7 weeks, thankfully it passed.

Heartburn has always been the first sign that I'm pregnant. In all of my pregnancies I've had severe heartburn before a positive test and it didn't go away until the baby was born. Horrendous. They've discontinued my favourite antacids but there are a few that are safe for early pregnancy. Make sure you read the label or talk to a pharmacist (that sounds like an ad)! 😂

Last time I had Gaviscon which is what I bought today but now I'm wondering if it's actually ok to have while pregnant?

Heartburn was the first sign I had with both my pregnancies, couldn't eat too close to going to bed. Some say it happens when you're having a girl, I've got two girls 👭

I'm 4 wks and have had it a couple of times. I don't remember getting it until much later on in my last pregnancy, so kinda caught me by surprise like you!

I have boys so that blows that theory out of the water!

I'm glad I'm not alone then. I'm not going to be happy if I have it for the whole pregnancy though!!

I always heard that it meant you would have a hairy baby... But my son was a practically bald till he was 16 months old so that had no truth for me either.
