    Default Is this teething?

Almost 4mo suddenly 'out of sorts' and fussy. Normally spot on with routine but not atm. Has slightly loose nappies and is constantly gnawing on his hand, or anything including bottle teat when feeding. Can't feel anything in his gums but could this be the start of teething? He seems too young.

It could be teething. Maybe gums are itchy, babies start teething at different ages.
Look up teething online as well
    Www.cyh.com.au I think

Look out for the loose stools, you don't want too many of them and keep fluids up.
Are cheeks red? Any rashes down below?

No rashes down below but had another loose nappy. Have given him most of his normal feed this morning and have been giving him boiled water in between so he doesn't get dehydrated.

I've had a good look at his gums too and the seem to be darker red down the bottom, which seems typical of teething gums from what I've seen on the net. :-( My baby is so little.
