    DD will be 3 in July. We have a parents retreat attached to our bedroom and have her single bed set up in there.

    Her room is down the other end of the house. I think when we move her, we'll move into the spare room
    Next door to her so we will still be nearby

    We started putting DD in her cot at bedtime when she was 4 months. A night or two before her sleep regression hit. BIG MISTAKE. I think it made it much worse having that upheaval on top of the sleep regression.

    I would wait it out until around 5 months or older, but it is up to you.
