    You can do it! You'll need to work hard but I'm sure it's achievable. I understand that you've got to be able to walk 10km for 6days so that gives you something to train for - working on getting used to walking for the whole day is important too!

    Would be great fun going for a walk with you but sadly children and life won't allow it to happen easily.

    Stay positive. Start by doing small walks around your neighbourhood. Anything is possible in life including something like this that you want to achieve. My dad is ex army ex Vietnam vet and they used to train with their backpacks full of rocks and built them up over time so that their backs could carry the weight of what they needed when overseas

    Off for a hike in the grampians this weekend with Hubby. We will either survive or we will both kill each other !!

    Well hike went well. I can feel the difference in my cardiovascular levels. But still got along way to go!

    Well the count down is on. This time next week we will hopefully have arrived at our first camp on the Overland track.
    We are lucky enough to be able to take the boat across the river which will cut 17kms off the first day! Bringing the total kms of the walk down to 65km!
    I am down to 101 kgs and hope for the next week to lose that kg between now and then.
