Default SH!T my MIL says #2

Is there a crappy SIL thread?
I had to call the police on my SIL on Saturday at my partners (her brothers!) birthday party. I am beyond angry.

I could definitely add a few stories to the SIL thread, but no arrests!! 😨

Not MIL but FIL - Soo apparently after 10 years of trying, several miscarriages, 2 failed IUI's and finally doing IVF, father in law has informed me that they have been waiting for this baby just as long as we have and they have just as much rights to him as we do, he will be leaving work when he hears that I have gone into labour and WILL be in the waiting room and MIL WILL be in the birthing room while I give birth. 😳
So I'm due on the 24th May, but having Bub on the 12th, this Thursday, I haven't told them.

Excellent move there! Don't tell them!!!! Wait 'til you've had him, showered and had some time to yourselves. I asked Mum to go home when I was dropped off for c-section with Dd because Dh and I wanted some with her alone after waiting 5 years. But, when I woke up from my GA induced hazed she was at the door hassling the midwives. I was too drugged up to know what was going on and swore at the mw. Then she got shtty about the visiting hours and then at my Ob because I was in for 5 days and she had to fly home before I was discharged. I regret telling her my cs date. Some people are so damn selfish! No one knows I'm going in next week for cs, they all think I'm waiting to go naturally.

(FTR-My own mother is just as bad as MIL)

    Say what?!
Whatever about the initial comment regards waiting- as that may well be true for him. But insisting on things that are YOUR call?
    Pfft.
