    I'm jealous! I wish I'd been sleeping 72 40 thousand hours! 😜

I can remember when my nephew was about 2-3 (he's 17 now 😳) he was having a huge tantrum and my dad picking him up and dad being very frustrated while holding him when my nephew suddenly stopped crying, put his hands gently on dads face and all concerned said "grandad, you are cracking up?!" Apparently his burst capillaries on his cheeks are actually cracks!!

    Default Reasons my child...

My ds asked why ladies can't drink the beer we got for DH, referring to the picture of a pregnant lady on the side of the box with a line through it. I said that it's a picture of a lady with a baby in her tummy and that it's not good for pregnant ladies to drink 'adult's drinks'. He replied with, "Well grandma shouldn't drink it because she has a fat tummy and must have a baby in it!" I think I'll be keeping that one to myself!

Eta: Not a 'reason my child' story but a funny one nonetheless!

Reason my 4yo went off his banana for half an hour...

A Lego monkey was missing an arm.

(He is ASD so he naturally gets intensely upset about odd things)

4yr old dd today was being smart answering back. I told her when she's older and has her own house she can be the "boss".....

She ran off crying and screaming that she never wants to have her own house, she doesn't want to leave me. 😂😂

my three year old grandson was distraught at the thought of his mother leaving him. ( it was just a joke), but he was so upset because he doesn't know how to make lasagne yet.

Bit of child logic here, and probably it was true! Yesterday we tried to call my mum in the UK on Skype but she didn't answer. DS said "Nanny must be on the toilet having a poo!"

And.....the kids were having fun weighing themselves on the bathroom scales. DS was 20kg and DD1 was 14kg. DH asked did they want to weigh him. DS replied "Noooooo Daddy you'll break the numbers!" 😂😂😂

She was told she couldn't touch her daddy's tools (electric jigsaw with blade in!) after I saw her pick up the extension cord attached to it. Um, how about feck no?
So she burst into tears. Yes DD, I am so unreasonable, aren't I? As if I'm going to let you fiddle with electric tools. Tantrum away!
