    Default Reasons my child...

This thread is just a bit of light hearted fun. I'm sure you've all seen those photos entitled "reasons my toddler is crying". Hilarious!
I thought we probably have plenty of our own amusing child logic moments to share. So hit me with your "reasons my child..." stories.

    To start:
Reason my dd can't go to bed. I stole her boogies (by wiping her nose) and won't give them back. She is devastated!

DD is 2.5. I bought her some $4 fairy wings from overflow. Within seconds of putting them on she was in tears totally distraught because ..... She still couldn't fly.

DS just turned 3 and the escalators were not working at our local shopping centre. He held on like always and refused to budge until I picked him up to let everyone past. He cried and cried because he had to walk up. Then got to the top and then threw himself into the foetal position for a good 5 minutes while continuing to cry. I never realised how passionate he was about escalators!

Reason my 3yo came out of bed "my leg was cold"
Reason my 3yo came out of bed again no more than 2 minutes later, after I put a blanket on her "the blanket isn't working".

And this one from last year always gets me... Reason my [then] 5yo didn't want to compete in the school athletics carnival
"I will waste all my running".

Yeah, you need to stockpile all that running for a rainy day. Smart thinking kid, no need to be wasteful.

Today 3yo DS1 burst into tears because he wanted us to do our exercises, together, while my friend was here for lunch, and I said no 🙄 I've started doing a short 7 minute circuit once or twice a day and he joins in (which is HILARIOUS) and he wants to do it in front of everyone and can't understand why I don't want to job in front of people and do lunges and squats 😕
