Default Two pink lines - first time mum - what do I do?

    Hello,

Last night I took a pregnancy test and it came back with two pink lines!!

This will explain the sore boobs and sick feeling I've been having!

I had my merina removed and have fallen pregnant straight away, so I have no idea how far along I am..

What do I do now I have a positive reading? Do i need to see anyone? Have any tests done? How will I know how far I am?

    Thank you in advance

First stop would be your GP. They'll be able to give you an idea of what happens next.

Thank you. It all becomes a little overwhelming and I don't know what I'm doing 😁. I will make an appointment. Do you know how early they can ultrasound? Is this a normal thing they do to confirm dates?

GP. You can get a scan referral to check how fae along you are.

Are you wanting private? Public? If private its time to chiose an ob and organise a referral as well.

Dating scan at 7 weeks if there's no hb u might be earlier, size should indicate. Might need repeat dating scan if too early. Quantitative bhcg blood plus if u didn't get other pre things done, various antibody levels. An ob would just date in rooms normally if u see one early, if ur public ur about 14w before the see u. Folic acid or multi vit immed.
