Believe me, i have been contemplating it so that's what I shall do.
Thing is, last year i had a blood test to see if i had an underactive thyroid but all i lacked was vitamin b and d so i was healthy then...id hate to think the worst with me but not knowing is worse than knowing
When I stopped taking the pill to try for no. 2 i had 2 normal cycles then no period for two months. Turns out I have PCOS. Last year I only had a period 6 times. Very frustrating when ttc. Obviously its a little different i was only 24 at the time but it could be that? My gp diagnosed me with pcos. I've been trying 4 years still no baby. Def go and see ur gp, they can send you for all the tests and refer you to a fs
Yes definitely see a FS. The IVF ladies on here can tell you the best in your city.
Thankyou all for your advice. Ive decided i will call to see my gp and hopefully tomorrow and that way i can get some answers and relieve the anxiety i have...my partner is keen for us to start a family but im a bit older than him and im the one worrying more as ive waited a long time to share this experience with someone who wants it as much as myself
I see you're in Vic. Lynne Burmeister at Monash IVF is one of the best but has a big waiting list.
Good luck hun as @Wise Enough and @melimum have both said definitely worth checking out.
@melimum sorry to read your still trying hun, I think we have been treading these boards the same amount of time ttc no.2, my not so little girl turned 5 today and its upsetting to think she may never get a little brother or sister. Darn the pcos!
Ive made an appointment for this afternoon so hopefully ill have some sort of answer to help de-stress. Ill keep you posted 😉
