If I finish work early, I'll just sit and play Candy Crush or whatever rather than pick DS early from childcare and have to spend an extra half hour looking after him in the evening

Lol this reminds me of me except it's my husband - when I'm lying in our daughters bed putting her to sleep, I often lie in there for a bit longer playing Tetris on my phone in the hope that hubby will have all the tidying up done by the time I come out. Sometimes he comes in if he thinks I've fallen asleep and sees me awake, so I just say "oh she was tossing and turning heaps and only just settled down" 😂

lol I do exactly this too!
Sometimes I just wait in DS's bed until I hear DH has fallen asleep on the couch, and then get up so I can do what I want by myself for the rest of the evening.

When I go out to collect the mail I take my phone and pretend to be talking on it to avoid making awkward small talk to my neighbours who are always sitting on their porch or doing gardening

I tell DP my Arthritis is being a biarch so that he has to do more housework even though I'm fine I get sick of cleaning up after him when I've just cleaned up

I do this (not arthritis but fibromyalgia) usually when DH and the kids have been lazy for over week or so and I am sick of being treated like their servant

One week I told my kids soccer had been cancelled just because I didn't want to go sit and watch
