Default KEMH Fertility Clinic WA - Has anyone been?

    Hi ladies!

I'm new to bubhub so I hope this is in the right forum.

I'm 27, DH is 28 & we've been TTC for 5 years without any luck
We've had tests done and turns out I have Endo and PCOS & he has very low sperm count, so basically we need ALOT of help in making our dream come true.

8 months ago I saw my GP about getting into the public system to see a fertility specialist as we don't have private health & we were referred to KEMH. I've finally received my appointment with them (happy dance) and so now DH & I need to get all tests done before our appointment. I would love to know if anyone has been to KEMH for fertility assistance and if so what was your experience? I just want to know about all costs for tests etc. and how the IVF side of it works. Thanks so much for reading xx

Hi there. I'll be going through IVF with KEMH too. So far I haven't had any out of pocket expenses. I've had several ultrasounds at KEMH, and have had surgery there in September to have a fallopian tube removed.
I have now been put on the waitlist for IVF. They told me the waitlist is about 18 months, however they said I'd wait 18 months before my initial appointment and I only waited 6 months. Fingers crossed it won't be too far away 😃.
Good luck with your upcoming appointments.
