Thanks Kylie for your info. I may have to investigate shipping them to a country where i can also use the help of a surrogate.

EMC we had Danelle for our cycle and she was lovely. Never had any problems with her. She was also quick to reply and helpful.

@ECM1981 The irony is that Jenny was a wealth of info about shipping embryos when I had about 28 embryos going and wanted to donate 20 to Australian women. She had lots of practical experience of doing it and talked about the clients she'd helped. In theory you can't ship embryos to Oz. Your DET was meant to be today wasn't it? What's your new date and I'll pop it in my diary to wish you good luck!

I'm so thrilled you fly out so soon. It feels like it's been a long time coming. You've overcome so many hurdles. You were a broken woman after your last cycle and look at you now. I hope you're very proud of what you've achieved both emotionally and practically. Would you consider transferring 3?

@Tahli thank you. Yes feels like a long time coming. A lot of prep has gone into this which is why im a little concerned that it could all go to sh!t especially with the disruptions. Trying to stay calm and have made lots of friends (even if i havent met them in person) throughout. Thanks for thinking of me tahli xx and i would consider transferring3 yes but im just hoping for a good haul and healthy embryos at this stage ☺☺ xx

I asked Heidi today what was going on. Seems some people have been retrenched due to the economy and Jenny was one of those. They now have 4 ivf coordinators. Also they don't all work full time and overlap each other.
Started my Gestone today, more chemicals to the mix. Will hopefully hear later today how many eggs were collected from our donor.

I will keep an eye and ear out. I always see if i can pick the accents! Our transfer date depends on if we do pgd on embryos on day 3 or day 5. If day 5 then it will be a day 6 transfer. Good luck offshorechick! Dont be too worried and try to enjoy the holiday part

It's hard to know how to be sensitive but still share my news when so many of you are going through a tough time at the moment, but I have to share....We got 23 eggs from our wonderful donor! I know the number of mature eggs is more important, so now the wait begins. Public holiday here today, youth day, so it will be a long wait to find out how the little lovelies go.
