Hi @keegan I'm a successful recipient from the second group that went through a KED cycle in April, currently 10wks pregnant today.

I'm not in another state though and have been a QFG patient for some time. I am currently in contact with a lady that got my email address from someone and she is in SA. She is going through a cycle this month and will be arriving on Sunday, I'll contact her and see if she is on bubhub and if she'd chat to you regarding the interstate thing if you like.

I'm happy to chat in general if you like

Hi Gen, congratulations. That's fantastic, so good to hear a good news story. Really appreciate you responding. I have approached KED via their 'contact us' page on their website so just waiting for them to respond. Did you find them professional and the whole process relatively easy? Thanks for the hug too

@Caesardust I'm sorry hun, I've never had to cancel a fresh cycle just a frozen one. With frozen you haven't paid anything to CFC so you don't lose money in that respect. If your lining is thin on your last scan they can push your dates back a few days or a week while you try and build your lining up further. If it's still under 6mm you can always do a freeze all so the embryos aren't lost but you'll need to move your flights and accom to the next cycle.
I'd very clearly ask your FS what their minimum mms is for transfer. As you know I just lost $1.5k on my last CFC cycle due to this being an issue. Her minimum wasn't the same as the other FSs there.
Id also be very clear about your past lining measurements and ask if you can build in an extra week to build your lining up. If youre doing a fresh cycle your EDs cycle will need to accommodate this.
The much less stressful approach would be to do a freeze all then fly over for a frozen transfer. The success rates for fresh vs frozen transfers are not that different.
What were your last measurements pre transfer on your last couple of cycles?

Thanks Tahli. It's not possible to do a freeze all as my partner needs to have the tesa procedure there. We also want to have a holiday so if it all fails then at least it won't all be for nothing. Nick is aware of my thin lining and is going to give me trental and viagra to help. I will check with dr Le Roux what the minimum is and hopefully I will make it. I'll also get changeable flights if I can. I will mention about the extra week for sure as it always takes me ages to get to the minimum 7. So much is riding on this I feel like I'll have a nervous breakdown if it gets cancelled.

Oh and don't forget to ask your Oz FS for 3 or 4 lining scan referrals. More than the ladies with good linings require. And there's also a Medicare rebate on your lining scans if you submit your receipts directly to Medicare, rather than at the scanning clinic. The rebate helps when you're having multiple scans!
Also ask for 3 hcg referrals that way you can have repeats blood tests without having to ask for more request slips.
