@ECM1981 how are you going?
Not too bad thanks @emski72 thanks for asking just waiting for the fly out day now in 2 weeks. Just hoping it all goes smoothly. Trying to remain calm and make plans for the future that are not baby involved to keep me occupied and stop me from freaking out. Not thinking about it much really, focusing in just looking forward to being on holiday and DH is looking forward to the steaks!! Put together my medication spreadsheet today to help me keep on track of everything i am taking. Xx the part the makes me the most nervous is the end of the TWW!
Will be keeping everything crossed that it goes smoothly for you and looking forward to following your travels!
We're leaving this Saturday! Will be there until the 25th, staying at the Quadrant then the Vineyard for our last night.
Can't believe it's that close. So much to do! Meanwhile I am on an increasing dose of pred after consultation with Dr Matthias, currently on 15mg and to increase to 20mg day of transfer. Have never had such a high dose before, and that and the oestrogen is making me both full of rage and teary! Anyone else ever had that much?
Good luck @Petulia im on 20mg to increase to 30mg lots of his patients are on about the same as you and i. Sorry about the side effects, it sucks but i think it pretty normal plus its a very anxious time too which doesnt help with the moods.
ECM1981, it sucks. So irritable and wired, and also already blowing out, so my GP nicely tells me today: "You're face is all rounded already". Also tells me it depletes the bones, and we will just have to worry about that in 6 months time. Not bloody likely! I'm upping my calcium.
Go @Petulia, @ECM1981 and @HB13, our next intrepid SA adventurers :-)
Oh, and @Offshorechick, who will be going soon too.
Have I missed anyone who's going soon?
I'm back from Melbourne. I shifted all of our SA bookings, and we are good to go for August now, same donor. Thankfully the same apartment was available, and for some reason at an even cheaper price??? (Paypal refunded me $115).
The other news is that I went to see Wazza yesterday. He looked at what CFC had proposed re medication protocol and gave me his recommendations for changes - prednisone for me too, at 25mg (he said the pred association with cleft palate was 'a very old idea'), clexane, feldene, trental, pregnyl...lots of others, most of which I have left over from my last OE cycle. Oh, and I went with synarel because I am generally ok on it (I know a lot of people aren't though) and it's one fewer round of injections.
CFC are aware that I'm a Wazza patient, and they said up front that Warren would probably want to amend my protocol. They want to know what he's proposed, so I'll send details across to them later today.
Pregnant for the first-time?
Not sure where to start? We can help!
