Spoke to a friend who is another wazza patient.. Who has lining thickness problems. She thinks waz likes a minimum of 7 mm at day 12.
I am in Perth and had my day 2 scan with another clinic.. Paid $75 for nurse scan. Not claimable with Medicare as sonography didn't do.. Just fert nurses that do them all the time.
The day 12 scan I had.. It was bulk billed as I went to the only bull billing clinic in Perth...western diagnostics in Kwinana. Referral must not mention it is part of an ivf cycle.. As any scan part of a cycle in Australia can not be claimed.. As is supposed to part of s global cycle.. But as we are going overseas.. You are not having a cycle on oz., so it is claimable. Best to just say u not having a cycle here.. Cos u r not and it is claimable. This has caused me some problems before in Perth. Scans here on wa are $180. - $230 minus the rebate.
I am enroute to airport to catch flight to Cape Town now. Transfer is 2 days away!
Goodluck Kylie, good thing the super plane left this morning, can you imagine being stuck on the Tonkin waiting for your flight. It would def raise the stress levels. My hubby just checked the weather in CT, it's looking good ☺ all the best!
Good luck Kylie
First scan today and we have a bub with a heartbeat - 115bpm and measuring 6w2 days xxx
We just looked at the De Waterkant apartments last night and will prob book one today. I found that a 3 bedroom, large beautiful apartment for my parents, my husband and me, plus my 3 year old will be around $200 per night, so we will pay $100 per night each couple. Really cheap for what you get.
