@Tahli - I'm so very sorry about your exceedingly non-cooperative lining. Such a huge disappointment.
Sending you lots of love as you work through yet another setback.
    Xoxo

Private lining scans and Medicare, girls. At the start of this year Medicare changes came into effect where you can't claim on private lining scans anymore. That's what my scanning clinic has been telling me for the last 5 months. Last week I had my scan done at a different clinic and they said when they try and claim for us it says there's no rebate but apparently some ladies have had success getting a rebate if they lodge their receipts personally. So I've given it a go and am waiting to see if a rebate lands in my bank account. Has any-one else managed a rebate for the private lining scans?

@Charlie74 To my knowledge he'll transfer at 6-7mm in that instance. As will LB. As will Dr W from CFC. Hence my fury at the situation I currently find myself in.

It would be amazing to get $80 back @emski72. Fingers crossed. I pay $165 for my scans.

Where are you going? That's much cheaper than what I'm paying. The scan is $325 w/ $80 back!

Ouch Em! Monash Ultrasound for Women, Box Hill. I had been going to the Richmond one for a year until I noticed one closer. It'd be worth the extra 15/20 min drive to save 160 bucks!! It's just the lining and follicle scan I have done.

I might ring them, I just got a written referral from my GP, like a letter...I wonder if they would accept that.

I hope they will for you, as its a big savings, esp if you have to have more than one lining scan. If you do end up there...take some gold coins for the on-street parking. It's about $2.50 an hour I think.
